This role sits within the Data and Analytics Directorate and supports the roll-out of FDP products across the organisation. The Deployment Manager will ensure that appropriate training and user support is in place to enable teams to use data tools effectively and drive improved outcomes for patients.

The postholder will lead a team within Data Services, ensuring a high-quality, coordinated and professional service that meets all relevant NHS, regulatory and statutory requirements.

The Federated Data Platform:

NHS England’s Data and Analytics Directorate is driving the transformation to put patients in control of their data, support clinicians, decision-makers, and researchers with real-time, high-quality data, and empower the NHS Data Community to leverage their skills for high-value opportunities. We pride ourselves on our dedication, creativity, and values-driven approach to improving decision-making across health and care, helping people live healthier, longer lives.

The NHS relies on data every day to manage patient care and plan services, but it is often stored in systems that don’t communicate with each other, creating burdens for both patients and staff.

The Federated Data Platform connects existing NHS systems, allowing each Trust and Integrated Care Board to manage their own customised version, enhancing data integration and care coordination.

The Data and Analytics Directorate supports the full scope of NHS England’s work. Our analytical teams deliver a wide range of projects, from bespoke modelling for new policy initiatives to performance analysis, survey insights, and impact evaluations.

The Analytical Applications team provides national, regional and local decision-makers in the Vaccination & Screening Directorate with the data they need to drive operational decisions. We deliver insight through consolidated data visualisation tools, as well as specialist modelling, reporting and analytical services.
